"Landfill Dodger" Scrap Blanket Coat, 52" chest

It seems like this coat has quite a history of dodging landfills!
From what I can tell, this blanket was made by someone using up their gorgeous, colorful stash of leftover yarn. Over time, this blanket became partially felted, stitches came loose, and it was eventually found by a fellow vintage enthusiast and upcycler, Jen at Funky Town and Country Vintage. She was kind enough to pass it on to me!
I strategically removed some stitches, and then hand sewed repairs and seams to create a "low waste" coat , almost zero waste. I used all but one of the blocks in the original 18x12 blanket!

52" chest circumference
31" length
31" sleeve length (from neckline)

Hand wash in cold water, dry flat. Store flat, not on a hanger.
